Product Information
The Informa is a keypad unit that has the capability of dialling prerecorded speech
messages over a telephone line. It is installed in your intruder system so that when your
alarm system detects an intrusion the external siren will sound to alert your neighbours
and the Informa will dial a programmed telephone number and replay a recorded speech
message to alert someone else to the intrusion. For example, Informa can contact a friend
or relative who lives close to your home, who can investigate the alarm and call the police
if necessary.

Functions
• Up to three telephone numbers can be designated and memorized by the Informa.
• Unique, easy to use "Follow me" telephone number that can be programmed by the end user.
The Follow me feature is designed to be used by customers who move from one location to another,
or go away on holiday.
• With "Bells Only" panels such as Optima, the Informa may be used as a single-channel dialler
1triggered from the bell output.
• One location message of 11s and three alarm messages of three seconds each give enough time to
record comprehensive messages.
• Recorded messages and telephone numbers are stored in non-volatile memory so not lost at power loss.
• The playback volume can be adjusted to four different levels.
• Three trigger inputs, programmable as active high or low, linked to phone numbers or alarm messages.
• The Informa can perform a test call, in order to check that the telephone numbers have
been set up correctly.
• Supplied with telephone lead for easy installation.
• The last triggered input is logged in the memory and can be viewed.
